Well, we all know that its time for the next-generation gaming consoles and some of the best-selling consoles giants have already unveiled their gaming consoles which includes Wii U from Nintendo, PlayStation 4 from Sony, while we are still waiting for Microsoft to wrap off the Xbox 720. If we go as per the rumors, Microsoft is expected to unveil the Xbox 720 sometimes in the month of April, but once it is out which will be the one to lead in the battle of next-gen gaming consoles? Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag which was announced on the end of month of February, is set to release on the 31st of October. All thanks to folks at All Games Beta, we have managed to get hold on a screenshot which indicates a new title "Assassin's Creed 4: Rising phoenix". Well, it is already confirmed that Black Flag will be Ubisoft's latest title for the next Assassin's Creed, but the screenshot had left us in a mystery what Rising phoenix will be about. However, there are words that this might be a comic book or a film, but as per the screenshot which says that it is for internal use only.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Trailer Makes the Debut

Three days before, we got an eye on the Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag trailer website where it was revealed that the game would be releasing this year on the 29th of October and would also be arriving on next-generation consoles such as Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox 720. Well, the trailer which was scheduled to release today turned out to be true and not only that, along with the Assassin's Creed 4 trailer, we also have the confirmed date of its release. The Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag had been confirmed to release on the 31st of October. The new title will be based on pirates and will cast an ocean-faring ancestor of Assassin's Creed 3 protagonist Connor. So, this would be game to look for especially for the fans of pirates and the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. It was day before yesterday, when Ubisoft confirmed the release of the Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. However, the indication of new title was earlier confirmed last month in third-quarter earnings call by the Ubisoft CEO and thereafter, we have received the signs of the Assassin's Creed 4 existence through a leaked poster and later, confirmed by Ubisoft by the release of its official box art. The leaked poster was found in a reddit post (as shown in picture below) revealing that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag might be based on pirates. Also, the reddit post indicated that the release might be sometime in the 2013 holiday season.

Well, Rockstar has already confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 will arrive first in the current generation gaming consoles i.e. PS3 and Xbox 360 on coming September 17th, 2013. So, Is this an indication that gamers have to wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 on the next-generation gaming consoles? For the gamers, the 2013 seems to be a year of highly-anticipated games like Gears of War: Judgement, BioShock: Infinite and Grand Theft Auto V, which the gamers will surely like too puts their hands on. That's the reason, Ubisoft had decided to delay the upcoming Splinter Cell. According to the recent reports, Ubisoft had announced that the Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be releasing on 20th of August 2013. Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be available in its originally intended platforms such as Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Since no official word by the developer, it will be difficult to predict whether the game will be releasing on Nintendo Wii U. Well, delaying the release seems to be a strategic step by Ubisoft, as one of the most awaited Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto is already ready to make the mark soon. However, we haven't got the exact reason behind the Ubisoft's delay, we will surely try to cover it. Though this is not a good news for the gamers especially for those who are looking forward for the Splinter Cell: Blacklist, but they can sit back and enjoy the other classy games.
