It was the end of January 2013 when RIM released the BlackBerry 10 operating system, and now, it seems that a new software update is rolling out for the OS. However, the BlackBerry 10 OS took hardly a quarter to bring the new update, but this time the update seems to arrive with some new improvements and experience. The BlackBerry 10 OS is now updated to version 10.0.10.85. You might be thinking about what kind of improvements and experience this new update will deliver?
Well, 3rd party application performance has improved, thus allowing the developers to build apps that will run fast and smooth for you. Among the top improvements and features includes the fixes for Gmail calendars, improvements in the BlackBerry Hub allowing to log calls log and how conversations are handled a, in addition to the general improvement of importing contacts from the online sources. Also, the camera is optimized for providing better photos in low-light situations, and the Web browser handling video playback to provide an incredible experience. There is also improvements in battery life which seems to be a good news for the heavy users.
The BlackBerry 10 software update is approx. 150MB in size, so it would be better if connected to Wi-Fi while updating the device. The update is available via OTA (Over The Air) and users who wants to manually check the update just follow the instructions i.e Settings > Software update and then Check for updates.
