After CES 2013, one of the highly-anticipated device of this year we came across is the Sony Xperia Z and this Android smartphone is still rolling in our mind for its awesome features and specs. But the only thing which is unfortunate in the Xperia Z i.e. it got the taste of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, rather than the latest Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean. However, Sony is here to make the things right for you, as they claims to make the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update available soon after its launch.
This report was confirmed by a representative at Sony in a recent Q&A session and he said " Xperia Z launches on JB 4.1, but will receive 4.2 shortly after launch. As always, we’ll share more info on this over the coming weeks on the blog." Though the date for the launch of the Sony Xperia Z is not yet confirmed, but according to major UK retailers, the device is expected to roll out sometimes in the month of March. Stay tuned for more updates.
