French Electronics consumer company, Archos has officially unveiled a new Android Tablet, named Archos 97 Titanium HD which seems to be an attempt to challenge iPad 4. This device appears to be similar  to iPad 4, features  9.7-inch IPS display with a 2048 x 1536 pixels. So that means this new Tablet has a retina display. The Tablet is powered by 1.6GHz dual-core A9 processor, a quad-core GPU (Mali 400 MP4),  a 1GB RAM and an 8GB of internal memory. Other features include 5MP rear- facing camera with autofocus, a 2MP front-facing camera,  Wi-Fi and a MicroSD card support ( expandable upto 64GB ).

The device supporting Android as the operating system, has got the taste of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Some of the other notable features are Archos Media Center apps and Office Suite Viewer. However, Archos has not yet announced its availability and price. But, on comparison, it should appear to be cheaper than iPad 4. Well, salute to Archos for such an outstanding effort.
