Google Voice Search now supports 13 new languages.

What would you prefer to make your search? Typing a series of words or making use of your voice. Well, your answer will be the one which is faster and quick i.e. Voice Search. Google's Voice Search for Android is however, available in 29 languages and it seems that Google wants to increase it across the globe. Google has officially announced the Voice Search feature for Android devices and now allowing an addition of 13 new languages, making the total amount to 42 languages. The 13 new languages includes Basque, Bulgarian, Catalan, European Portuguese, Finnish, Galician, Hungarian, Icelandic, Norwegian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak and Swedish. According to the reports at Android Official blog, this update has started to roll out and will continue over the course of the next week.


If you are thinking to start using this Voice Search, then it will depend upon what type of Android device you have. If your device supports Android 2.2 or later, then you will find a microphone icon on the Google Search Widget on your homescreen, Just tap the icon and you will able to enjoy the voice-powered search. Or you can head to Google Play Store and install the Voice Search app. While the app allow users to speak only one language at a time, so make the change in your language setting before starting your search.
